Service details and frequently asked questions

We work with organisations to document people, programmes and the places where change happens. Our approach gives contributors space to speak in their own words while keeping the story clear and useful for its audience.

A brief built around your needs

We can plan assignments across Kenya, including Turkana, Kakuma, Garissa and refugee-hosting areas. Assignments in other African countries can be discussed, subject to travel, local permissions and operating arrangements.

What we can include

A useful brief sets out the programme context, intended audience, locations, contributors, languages and outputs. It should also identify safeguarding requirements, informed-consent arrangements and any limits on identifying participants.

How we work together

We agree access and contributor arrangements before filming. Interviews and supporting scenes are then shaped into a coherent film, with subtitles, translations and versions included where specified in the quotation.

Questions worth asking

Can you cover several field locations?

Yes. Share the proposed route and schedule so we can plan realistic travel and filming time.

How do you handle sensitive stories?

We agree the organisation’s safeguarding, consent and review requirements before filming. Sensitive locations and contributor identities should be discussed early.
